NEED HELP ON UNSEEING EYE CULT!

i used the rod and killed the beholder down in the pit and came upstairs.but i need to know what i need to do to complete the quest.the journal says it still is not done.i went back to the helm temple and they said there is stuff that still needs doing-anyone????

Did you go to the temple of the diseased people after you kill the unseeing eye ?

You have to reload. You cant bring the rod outside if you are to finish the quest. Thats what the journal says anyway...
And do as Bill here said.

How did you you get past the door once you went up the stairs? I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to open the damn door!

Try to walk up close to the door with your entire party. Some say that help. I am not sure, since the door opened when i was there...
