| | | My mage dies mysteriously
Every time i touch my mages primary ring slot he instantly dies. Upon attempt to resurrect him he instantly dies over and over. Any clues as to why this is happening? |

| | | are you using any mods?? have you altered your character with Shadow Keeper? need more info about these things to help you out better.

| | | No no nothing 3rd party. The only abnormal thing done was that i pickpocketed Lavok to get a 2nd ring of acuity.
edit : Also i hadnt equipped both rings the bug occurred when i tried to remove the 18 charisma ring. |

| | | Try looking at your mage using Shadowkeeper. See if there's anything like poison on him/her.

| | | I don't understand how your mage can die and you have the chance to ressurect him, the game normally ENDS when the main character dies.

| | | I think he means the mage in his party--probably a party designed in multiplayer mode, or else a mage NPC like Edwin.

the question is now where it drops too, you might lost points in char so it is 0
and ANY ability your char drops on 0 it should be dead, strenght, dex, consti etc.
so did you change your charisma to 0 or did something occur which decreased your Char ? |

| | Thats so weird. I just checked if it was charisma going down to zero and it was... When i rolled him im pretty sure i chose a charisma of 8 or 9 and i didnt use any tools to bring it to zero. What could of caused this? How could i fix it 
edit : i slipped a nymph cloak on to him and was able to remove the ring but his charisma sits at 2... summoning would be tough. is there any way to restore stats other than using a trainer?

| | The Rod of Terror item drains charisma. Also, the stat has absolutely no effect on any spells. Only certain dialog options and store transactions.
There is an editor called ShadowKeeper that lets you edit your character.
