multiplayer "trick"

im playing bg2 again, and i want to play the game with a couple of my older chars, so i thought "why not use the multiplayer trick thingey again?"

only thing is, how works it again? i can't get it to work... i doens't let me start the game, so i can save and move the save to the singleplayer dir...

so: how does it work again?

You click on Multiplayer, then on Create Game, you give a name for it, and then you start creating your characters. When finished, you click "Accept" or something like that under each character and the multiplayer session begins. I think...

Anyway, wait for someone to confirm that. I have done it just once, and I recall it had given me some trouble, too.

It asks you to choose a connect option. Choose 'serial'. Then create a new game. Start the game, save it, then move the game to your single player save folder.
