Q: Which self-made NPC (in multi) were you people most impressed with?

Personnaly mine was a Ranger/Cleric, he turned into my main tank. Anyone/anywhere he would go in first. And I hardly used him for healing.

Anyone Else?...

Mage dualed to a fighter at level two. Loved the Staff of the Magi with more than one weapon slot.

@Alison Entreri... yes it was different using a staff to beat the fire out of the baddies.... I have always play a Paladin...Lucian gave me the idea to try this out.

I didn't finish the game with my mage/fighter..it kind of got old...still impressed me though.

There have been three characters that I have been really impressed with:
  • Paladin. More specifically, I liked the inquisitor. I found him to be very competent fighter and is great for taking down powerful mages. I had a great deal of fun with this one.
  • Assassin. Truly my all time favourite. He sneaks around, planning things instead of running in with sword swinging. I was never a great fan of the backstab in BG1, but BG2 converted me, and with the Assassin's x7, well, need I say more. The poison and traps ability really impressed me too. It is a very well rounded character. Detect illusions is another brilliant thief ability.
  • The other is a multiclass Fighter/Mage/Thief. I found this one to be really enjoyable since he combined the use of brute strenght, magic skills and the thiefs backstab and traps etc. A very well rounded character also.

All in all, I would have to say I had the most fun with the Assassin, but the other two were also great to play. http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
