Monk Thief Abilities

I'm sure it's been posted before, but I can't find it anywhere, so can someone tell me how many Thief Ability Points monks get, per how many levels?

Is it viable to have a monk as your only thief, assuming you have a sorceror with knock (and yes I know anyone can solo the game with a little perceverance, but I mean is the monk actually any good at trap location and disarmament?)

certainly not.
he gets 10pts per level, but the only skills available r hide/move, find traps. yes, he can find traps. but he cannot disarm them so its worthless. Neither can he backstab, but stealth is still helpful (at least more than worthless find traps).

oh bugger you're right...just tested it. Looks like my fighter/thief's gonna become a thief sooner than I thought..
