Long Bow ??

Hi there !!

I play as an archer now and i have 5 +'s on Longbow skill, but witch bow is best ??
Have 11 in Base THACO and -4 in THACO

I am using Elven courtbow +3 now but can i find an even better bow out there .

Short bows are the best, buddy.

Gesen fires +4 plus electric damage, therefore goes throw stoneskin!

Crossbows are the coolest though IMO, because of the Kua Toa bolts. I have kept them until the tough encounters. Bolts of biting is also a good spell-disrupter.

Here are two other good long bows to look for:

Heartseeker +3

Combat Abilities: Once per day can increase bow's aim to an additional +7 to hit for nine seconds
THACO: +4
Damage: +2
Weight: 7
Speed Factor: 4
Proficiency Type: Longbow
Type: 2-handed
Requires: 18 Strength

Strong Arm +2

THACO: +3 bonus
Damage: +3 bonus
Weight: 7
Speed Factor: 4
Proficiency Type: Longbow
Type: 2-handed
Requires: 19 Strength

The best one in SoA is mana bow +4. only drawback is that you get it kind of late.

The stongarm can be bought, the only problem is you'll need 19 strength so you have to wear a girlde of ........strenght
