There is, so far, no easy way to fix this. Using the cheats to re-start the romance often leads to wierd bugs like dialogue-looping, etc.

Really...?! I wasn't aware if your romantic interest gets killed it kills the romance too....
I must admit, I was quite shocked when Anomen first spoke his true feelings, and soon I found myself consumed with similar thoughts.... This was some time ago, Anomen has sinse stopped voicing his feelings for me, and perhaps this is why.... We spent one night together, then not long after that I found myself thinking.... typical male, one he bags the babe, then the communication goes down the tubes..... does the relationship continue to grow...? Currently I'm in Chapter 3, and have completed many of the side quests, Anomen has become a knight, his father is dead, and we managed to keep him from slaying his father's rival.
I was considering starting the game over with another character because there were a few things I might want to do differently... If someone can tell me if the relationship continues to develop beyond the point I reached, it would be helpful in making my decision.

There is more to the romance, but you have to advance to chapter 6 to see this.

Thanks a lot...I will keep that in mind for the new game I've started...har har...
Okay, so am I right in thinking that the Saerk event is the last thing in the romance before ch. 6?? Talk A. out of killing Saerk, A. promises to assist PC "now and forever more", and then nothing till ch. 6?
Any other advice about trigger events, time issues, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Killing does NOT terminate the romance (well, unless you don't raise them :P) I've gotten Viccy killed so many times its not funny and our relationship is still going strong, and ViconiaRomanceActive is still 1 |

| Actually...when I finally figured out the CLUA I checked the stats, and the Romance Active was still at 2, even after A. had been killed and raised. But the LT was only at 37. And no dialogues were forthcoming. Confusing...Isn't 37 low to be all the way into ch. 6? Shouldn't it be higher by that time?
By the way -- what is there to do in ch. 6 besides the lanthorn quest? I feel like I'm missing something. |

Try resting, there are romances dialogues with vic that only show at resting...
And that Chapter 6 quests depends on what did you do before going into the Boat trip.
(yes, only that quest is a chapter 6 only quest, like you could raise the 15000 in any way that you like)

OK, I stand corrected, death does not necessarily terminate the Anomen romance. (I really should check the scripts before making sweeping statements, eh?  )
loner72, Anomen's LOVETALK is fine, his does not go as high as Jaheira's. If you've already gone after Anomen at the Saerk Estate, then...

Don't know wether this is considered as part of the romance but AFAIK you will get a different(from usual) dialogue from the NPC you're romancing before descending to the Tree of Life in Suldanassellar (the part where you ask the NPCs to assure you that they're still with you)
