Question kensai thief

So are these guys crazy or what once they get 'use any item'?
It's almost too easy with one at the start of ch3 now.

OUCH! I've never thought of that, they're REALLY unbalanced...

I reckon that Stonehege was build by the contemporary equivalent of Microsoft, whereas Avebury was definitely an Apple circle.

You have a Kensai/Thief dual that can use any item at the start of chapter 3? Dear God. What level did you dual the kensai at?

Question

My one is actually multiclass thanks to a bit of a screw up when i was creating it He is soloing (of course :P ) so it doesn't take long for the XP to rack up. A dual class would get UAI even sooner but it would be much tougher to live that long.

The big bummer is having to wait until level 15 thief (or whatever it is) to actually get 'use any item'. They are just about the ultimate tank now though, excellent THAC0 and AC. Combine it with thief abilities (pp, lockpick and find traps all over 100 now) and the ability to read scrolls and use wands and there isn't a whole lot they can't do. Depending on scrolls is a bit of a pain (although i have about 3 scroll cases full by now) but only the hardest fights can't be won by their melee combat alone.

Actually i was feeling pretty ripped off, i found out that the long bow i had (i forget what it was, heartseeker i think) was giving me a better THAC0 than when using carsomyr, and i had 4 points in sw2h and NONE in long bows.

That's quite normal for a solo character. I'm currently soloing in Chapter 3 as well. Haven't even done Umar Hills, Windspear Hills, Twisted Rune, Kangaxx or the main storyline stuff yet, but I'm already capped out...
