Jan's missing bonus spells?

hey I picked up Jan and he is a 7th level illusionist but he only has 1 4th level spell. This DnD edition you still get bonus spells for specialist wizard, correct?

I installed based on a thread of someone else where Von Dondue replied.

I think I have..

Most mod makers assume that you have installed the Baldurdash Fix Pack v1.12 and English-Language Game Text Update v1.2, so you should install those before any other mods. Then you can install the following:

Weimer's Ease-of-Use Mod Collection

Select only the following components:
- Infinite Weapon and Potion Stacking (SoA)
- Infinite Weapon and Potion Stacking (ToB)
- True Grand Mastery
- Shut Up "You Must Gather Your Party ..."
- Wear Magical Armor AND Magic Rings
- Multi-Player Kick Out Patch (I didn't)
- Bonus Merchants
- Imoen ToB Dialogue Fix
- Female Edwina
- Romance: Bug Fixes

Sorceror's Place Cloak of Mirroring for BG2:TOB

or it was something like that (couldn't find the exact thread again) but it definitely had the two games + patch, baldurdash, some Weidu things, maybe g3 tweaks?, something about a golem etc.

I didn't see anything about Jan ----> fix

He's a multi-classer therefore does not get, and shouldn't get, the benefits of being a specialist IIRC.

No he is still an illusionist although multi-classed. Every illusionist gets bonus spells. Illusionist is the only specialty possible to multiclass and only gnomes need apply. The problem resolved itself. When he hit 8th level he gained 2 3rd and 2 4th level spells (which I think indicates he's getting the bonus spells for illusionist).

Just keep playing. The minute Jan receives his next wizard level, he will get his bonus spell slot for each level as intended for a specialist. Plus the spell slots of the new level, of course.
