Jaheira/Vic Stutter walk

I'm playing BG2 (v26498) with the TDD (1.03a), NPC Flirt Packs (1.0),Ease of Use, Tactics and Imoen (1.107) mods and all of a sudden both Jaheira and Vic have started stutter walking and it's driving me NUTS!!!!
I had just finished the Shade Lord when Jaheira warned me about Vic and then POOF!!! that damn stuttering started! I've tried using SK and changing both Romances off to 3 but to no avail and short of uninstalling everything and then re-installing I wanted to know if there was anything else I could try.
I'm not using the Happy Party or Concurrent Romance either since I know they aren't compat with the Flirt Packs.

TDD is to blame for that....

I thought that TDD didnt had a Happy Party or Concurrent Romance........but JC said it had, so TDD is the no-good-do'er.

I also experienced the same stutter-step when Jaheira warns you about Viconia......and it is truly the most annoying bug in the game.......


Someone however found a way to work around the bug......I dont know if it works for you, but you could allways try.....heres how it goes:



Use the debug console: (if you dont know what that is, do a search, and you will find tons of information)

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("viconiaromance","Global","3 333333")

or some other ridiculously high value (I started low and kept changing it to higher values).
This will force a lot of Viconia dialogs to appear and speed up the whole romance. I tried pressing CTRL+T or CTRL+I from time to time, when this did not help, I rested.

After a few more dialogs, there were no more. I then set

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("viconiaromanceactive","Glob al","0")

and finally -- only then -- the stutter bug disappeared. I re-set the last variable to 1, but I am not sure whether the romance will continue to its end or not.

ARcheR_S_, I'm gonna give your suggestion a try tonight and thanks! BTW, do you have to alter anything for Jaheira? Right now the JaheiraRomance Global is set to 3.

Depends who you want to romance......If you want to romance Vic....then make the jaheira globales:
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("jaheiraromance,"Global","3" )

If you want to romance Jaheira.......then make the Vic globales:
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("viconiaromance,"Global","3" )

And in my former post you need to do those changes with jaheira instead of Viconia

ok but when you type shift+2 it should come up as " right but its @ does this matter also mine startedin wakeens i have tdd and the patch

At the baldurs ini file u put the line Debug Mode=1 under the [Program Options]

Then you press Cntrl Space ingame and add (as example) CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("viconiaromance","Global","3 333333")

And yes, you add the " to the line.
