Jaheira drives me nuts

Jaheira is whining she doesn't "tolerate such waste of thime". She says it about every 4 seconds, so i can't play the gam like this.

Does anyone knows this bug. Or what should i do to make her stop whining?

Sounds like a bug. Do you have the latest version of Direct X? Are all your drivers up-to-date?

Yup...everything you mentioned is installed. She has said this before and i noticed she was saying it more and more.

I don't know if anyone knows the line. She's saying it because she is sad because of khalid. I think she wants to encourage you te get on with the story of the game (instead of doing all the subquests). Nut now she won't shut up.....i'm gonna try kicking her out of my party and then putting her back. Maybe it will help.

Maybe i won't do it then (i like her caracter). But i REALLY!!!! cant play the gaem like this. She keeps saying it literally ervery 4 seconds or so

Well, if so, just boot her, if the choice is between a nagging woman and eternal peace....

By the way, I almost forgot, I have had this same thing as well, but when I did some of the quests which you have to do continue in the story she stopped. I don't know how much you have spend walking around and enjoying the countryside?

I managed to solve the problem by loading a previous game. She didn't start this time. Now i'm going to the graveyard to solve the vampire vs shadow thief quest. That should bring me further in the game i suppose

she has been a constant throughout my BG gaming.
BG1-SoA-TofB and she keeps on getting better and beter.

What more can you ask for than a tankable spell caster?

i hate her. i find her utterly useless. i prefer nalia as my spell caster. jaheira blows. if u want a somewhat good druid get cernd.

I got the same problem and going to an old game only delays it. It was solved in the most recent patch file.

I like Jahira personnally but my philosiphy is "If you want a good druid get a cleric!"

I don't agree with you guys about Jaheira. Surely she isn't the best fighter or spellcaster of the bunch, but no other NPC can be so flexible as she is.
She is an acceptable warrior, and with a strenght enhancing item (like you suggest for Vic) she is great (better thac0 and Hp), and with Belm she gets 7/2 attacks per round normaly!
She is a good slinger and she can cast DRUID spells; yes Cernd is a better spellcaster but is a lousy fighter, unless as a Werewolf (but in thet case no spellcasting).
On top she can be a love interset, has TWO interesting related quests and if you keep rep. not too high she doesn't complain a lot (but also other NPCs if not happy complain, and some will also leave you while Jaheira doesn't).
IMO she is the best multipurpose NPC, great specially if you don't want a 6 party team.

Rahvin how can you compare Jahiera with Nalia?
Jahiera is a Fighter/Druid and has completely type of different spells and abilites to Nalia who is a Mage/Thief.
To compare them is stupid.
I have Nalia and Jahiera on my team and they are in no way similar, they are different and good as they are

The same thing happened to me. The game gets stuck from time to time in a loop. I found the only way to stop it was to hit the rest button. She shut up after that for a while after resting.

After a while I found all of the NPCs to be a little anoying except perhaps Minsc..I have a soft spot for people who converse with hampsters. My last few starts I have concentrated on just soloing. My fighter/thief and my sorcerer have both killed all the dragons so I guess I really don't need the rest of the party after all. I hate having to babysit the NPCs anyway......

the problem is solved (for at least now). I went on with the shadow thief quests and she shut up.

About the cool / suck discussion of Jaheira: I like her and I'm gonna keep her.
