Jaheira and harpers (spoiler)

I recently ran into a bit of difference from every walkthrough i've found. everything went as it was supposed to go, but now jaheira met with her formet teacher, but no fighting occured. in fact the only fight was the one in harper compound. instead of fighting she just renounced the harpers and her teacher left. the quest was moved to solved. does it mean that it is over, she won't again leave my party and elminster will never come?

I believe the fight takes place during a second meeting.

Just continue on... Jaheira will more or less be continuously pestered by the misinformed Harpers throughout the story line ending in a very touching display of affection/loyalty and her characteristically stubborn holding in her belief of what is right. Things will come in time, unless you manage to rush things and complete it early. I'm unsure if the game will consider your progress to certain key areas as being a trigger for these time controlled events (hey, her teacher needs to consider his knowledge of the fact and thoughts too!), though I would think it does not.
