Jafir in the UB mod

I thought that I would see if I could kill Jafir rather than paying him.
Like so many bad guys, he runs when he knows that he is beaten.
What I was wondering is this.
Is he killable, or has he been made unkillable like so many other characters?
This is part of the unfinished business mod and is part of the Kalah minor quest, one which I have found very well constructed.

He is unbeatable. I just tried to ctrl+y him earlier today in fact
