Post intelligence stat question

how high should a fighter set int for not to be punished in lack of dialogue choices for a too low int

There is no dialog punishment for low INT.

There's one instance in the underdark where I believe it checks your int. It uses charisma as well though so I don't think it's necassary if you have enough charisma. This is especially important if you have a romance going.

oh yeah, how could i forget those buggers.

i remember a place in the underdark where solaufein asks you about mindflayers..you can get up to 3 dialogue choices depending on int

I vaguely remember having to have Int 15 to brush of Phaere (should you want to). You also need Int 17 to solve a fight between actresses if you get the Bard's stronghold (but Fighters never get there).

All in all, not that much use for Int for Fighters. But then again, no-one knows what they did not get, so...
