Post If you installed the 'Level 50 patch and xp cap remover' read this

I just installed it, and right off the bat, the first thing i noticed is that it deleted some of my stalker/clerics skills. Specifically, her stealth was at 127 , based on 70 'hide in shadows' and 70 'move silently' and after i put the patch (override.exe) in, her stealth was 65 or something. When i looked at her in shadowkeeper, prior to the patch , under the 'thief' tab, like i said above, her 'hide in shadows' and 'move silently' were both at 70. After patch, they were both at 0.

This is just one thing that I found. Now I am dreading having to go through all my characters and try to see if there are any other skills or stats that just got 'magically erased' by installing this stupid patch.

This is a warning to anyone else who has used this patch. I could have easily not noticed this if it had been any other stat. Like saving throws and thaco and stuff. But stealth was an easy one to remember, since it has been at over 100 since the begining of the game when i first created her. When i saw stealth: 65 i knew something was way wrong. And like I said, I noticed this, immediately after i installed the exp cap remover and level 50 patch thing. So i know it was caused by this and nothing else.

If anyone else has noticed similiar problems with this patch, please fill us in on what else to look for, so maybe i can fix things up quicker. Thankgod for shadowkeeper or my cleric would be permanently ****ed. I didn't have any earlier saved games with which i could go back to, without deleting the 'override' folder and trying to 'uninstall' all the files that it had put in.

Well went back to playing my game, and the same character, upon leveling again, had the same exact thing happen. Apparently each time she levels her 'thief' skills get deleted. Luckily i have shadowkeeper to fix this each time, but it sux. And who knows what else may be screwed up on my other chars. Guess i'll have to sit down for a couple hours and compare all the stats one by one and see if there are any other major discrepencies......

Or you could check out which files are in the rule pack and remove all of those from your override... But if you have ToB, it'd probably mean you'd have to re-install it.
