I can't get Terminsel to show up. PLEASE HELP!!! (spoilers)

Hey there folks. So I finally got to bang that broad Jaheira which was a real pain in the arse to do. However. after the whole ordeal I was expecting Terminsel to show up and give Jaheira the Harper Pin. He didn't show up. Sop I was like "OK maybe he doesn't show up right away.". So I wander and wander and wander resting in like EVERY location possible. Hes still a no show. This really pisses me off when I hear of people getting him to show up 5 or 6 times. I think they stole Terminsel from my copy. I did try installinmg the patch but it was only after I nailed Jaheira. I might try re-loading an old save with the patch installed but I don't think thats it. Any ideas where he might show up? When exactly does he show up? I originally thought he showed up the next monring after you and Jaheira got it on. Any ideas? Thanks!

Its must be real time dependent, try wait 30 minutes real time and see if he show up, if not....

Ummmmmmm ok. You mean just hang around in the same location?? I had thought of just letting my computer sit for a while with the game running and see if that works. I mean he showed up the first time ok enough. Its just this 2nd time that seems to be a bitch.

So then he doesn't show up right after you wake up from the "Scandalous night"?

Are you suprised with that?
After all that romance have so many bugs that most cannot get the romance to work.
Terminsel (A.K.A Elmister) giving the harper pin must be (using the romance script, since you can get it without doing the romance) similar to all romances, either is real time dependent or location/time of day/resting (know as triggers) dependent.

No, but i had free her from the harper and it was him that have give me her note, so I belive that the Harpers quests will happen regarldess of the romance.
It will take some time for him to show up.
I know about the triggers since Amomen romance changes the triggers for the Amomen quests, the same must happen to jaheira quests, try to go back to a diferent area to see if he shows up after 30 minutes.

I haven't finished it yet, but I recall reading in some walk-through-or-other that Terminsel appears between 9 and 90 days after you rescue Jaheira from the Harpers.

I've just done that, and Jaheira has since had 3 conversations with me about trustworthiness etc... Am I almost there yet? Should I go and rest outside?

My romance with Jaheira was screwed up my second time through the game, but I still met Elminster on my way from The Underdark to Athkatla, the same place I met Drizzt.

The Harper Quests continue at a faster rate if you are not romancing Jaheira.If Terminsel hasn't showed up to end the Harper Quests in Chapter 2,he will usually appear when your party encounters Drizzt in Chapter 6(at least that's what usually happens in all of my games)

I am not romancing Jaheira, but would like the Harper pin for Haer Dalis. I would take Jaheira as a team member but my heroine is a Druid (avenger) and Jaheira's Druid skills at 750k xp (I went into the underdark without her in the mistaken impression that the harpers actually executed her) are worthless compared to my 15th level Druids with 6 7th level spell slots (Ah at last). Jaheira would be well through TOB before she became she got
numerous 7th level spells.

Plus I'm angry at her for disappearing with sweet gear I needed to battle Irenicus with.

ANYHOW! back to my QUESTION... I have baldurdash/patch. No jaheira romance (heroine is female). I have paused the game for a half hour. I am in the wilderness. Is the appearance of terminsel random? I don't want the game to go on to "day 104 without a soul going back and forth watching the new screen load". I want to get the pin (and more importantly the closure of having the Jaheira experience).

I think the pin is only usable by Jaheira unless you have UaI with Haer'dalis. If so just use sk.

More specifically, the Harper Pin is only useable by half-elf True Neutral Fighter/Druids and half-elf True Neutral Bards. You can change the usability flags with an item editor if you want other types of characters to use it (for example, if you want to edit Jaheira and make her Neutral Good or change her class to Cleric/Ranger).

On another note: I have found Jaheira to be a very frustrating experience! And I'm not even romancing her. She called me a bastard to my face! As if that makes sense...Nooo! I am the 'legitimate' spawn of the god of murder

Then when I try to get rid of her she says we need to make haste to the harper hold (as if she is in some de ja vu time loop). So I went just to see if Gavalrey would be there again (ie what his troops would do against 6 rounds of level 7 druid spells ha ha).

Nobody is there. Last time Jaheira was upstairs but this time she has vanished. Luckily I took everything away from her but full plate +1 and blackblood this time...I hope she finds some use for it in dimension X or wherever she is?
