How do I Make Scarlet Ninja-To Backstab .?

My F/M/T just got UAI and I'd like to use the Scarlet Ninja-To. However, I get a message saying "This weapon is not suitable for backstab". I've opened the file up in IIE and I cannot find a tab or anything to set an item as backstab - capable. Could someone tell me what I have to do in IIE to make a weapon backstab? Thanks..

If a weapon cannot be used by a thief without UAI, it can't be used for backstab.
Change it so it can also be used by thieves and the backstab will work.

When you get it to work, would you mind posting it here? This just makes sense as the best backstabbing weapon & I know lots of us would love to use it.

Leonardo, thanks for the reply. I edited the file in IIE to make it usable by all thieves except cleric-thief, and it now backstabs. Gave it to my F/M/T with UAI ..

Currently soloing an elven f/mu/t who dual weilds blackrazor & scarlet ninja-to. It is quite possible to get the extra attack and posion effect without editing. Just make sure the ninja-to is in your off hand.

almost forgot, both staff and scarlet ninja to will backstab if the assassinate high level ability is active...i know for sure on the scarlet ninja to, and i think the staff worked when jan did it...
