| | May I strongly reccomend that you visist Baldurdash and download the "unofficial" patch (to be used alongside the official one), which deals with all the issues that Bioware missed.
It'll save you a lot of pain in the future. |

| | Quitch is right. The patch will greatly increase your enjoyment of the game, since it fixes a raft of bugs. Note that there's also a Baldurdash uninstaller for SoA, just in case you decide to purchase ToB, the expansion pack. The Baldurdash bugfixes aren't compatible with ToB; for ToB, you need a completely differently bugfix pack that Baldurdash provides.
