Flail of Ages

Hey guys, been reading the forums alot recently as i decided to re-install BG2 and play through it as a class i haven't before (sorcerer). Now my question, I've just finished the D'arnise keep quest and left the location without creating the flail of ages (completely slipped my mind), i didn't think it would be a problem and went back when i realised, unfortunately the drawbridge is now up and the secret entrance is unusable, any ideas or shall i just leave it? I've tried going to Cromwells but he doesn't say anything about it.

You can always use CLUAConsole to import an item.

You are probably too late. After you finish the stronghpld, a lot of stuff just vanishes. Gems, bows and suchlike. It is a brand new area, so don't expect to find any missing parts of the flail. However, if you have the parts, it might work. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

migth be interesting to see if the Butler in ToB can make it from scratch, or just add the last 2 heads.


I think the Flail was going to be much more important - you can't sell it and if the possessor leaves, you get it back. I reckon some big story-line was abandoned.
