| | fallen undead hunter ? Atm my PC is an undead hunter, and all was going well until i realised that somehow, i was unable to use carsomyr anymore (had been using it no worries for quite a while). Then i noticed when i was shifting stuff around through various party member's inventory's, that carsomyr was red and i couldn't equip it anymore. I checked my info page and it now says im a "fallen undead hunter". Is this the reason i can't use the weapon anymore? I haven't done anything evil that i can remember..well i did the mission's for bodhi though...
Is there anyway to change his status back to normal? Even if i have to use shadowkeeper. I didn't even know this could happen (never played a paladin before, haven't finished the game yet either). |

| | A paladin usually becomes a fallen paladin(in your case fallen undead hunter) if the party's reputation gets too low (IIRC drops below 6 ).The only way to regain your paladin status AFAIK would be through the use Shadowkeeper(others may know of another way though )

| | If your reputation goes too low, paladins and rangers will loose their class specific abilities, and thus become fallen. According to the manual, this will happen to a paladin if rep goes below 6, and a ranger if rep goes below 4. (My Archer though, became fallen at rep 6, I don't know why.)
Check your rep. If your rep is OK, the explanation might be that siding with Bodhi is supposed to be the evil path.
I don't think there is any way to restore a fallen paladin/ranger except maybe using Shadowkeeper.

| | I had a quick look in shadowkeeper (i don't like using it at all) and i couldn't see a way to change him back. In shadowkeeper he's still called an undead hunter, not fallen. Also...he can't use any of his spells, that must be because of his fallen status too Man i havn't even done anything evil, reputation system sucks :-( |

| | Aha! I will save the day once again!
If you already have your stronghold, but haven't completed it yet, then I suggest you do it now. See, fallen paladins/rangers regain their normal status if you finish the last stronghold quest. Of course, that requires you to have it, and since fallen guys can't get the stronghold (I think) you'd be pretty screwed if you haven't got it yet. But, since you have Carsomyr, I suspect you have your stronghold as well. I hope you haven't finished it yet. |

| | Don't you have a save game from before you changed to Fallen?
Always keep some backup saves! |

| | Well, he's a fighter now. You can get more proficiencies.
He can have supreme mastery in 2 handed sword, making him a killing machine with the Silver Sword.
Actually, I'd continue playing him. It's just a cool aspect in the storyline. |

| | Nope i don't have a save from that far back, i think it was quite some time before i actually realised he was fallen, because i had some other weapon in a slot next to carsomyr so when he became fallen, and probably instantly stopped weilding carsomyr,he must have switched to the other weapon. Maybe if he had tried to lay the smack down with his fists, monk style, i woulda noticed way earlier |

| | I don't know for sure, but perhaps the "fallen" status is noted in one of the Affekts in Shadowkeeper, try to compare a paladin with a fallen one and look for the difference.
