bogotter,

try search the forums for this very topic. I believe it is not in BG2, but I think you can work it in with shadowkeeper.

yeah with clua console or shadowkeeper, you can create the cloak of balduran. I'm not sure if you carry it with you or not when importing from bg1

Is the cloak in the extra merchants patch? (On a merchant ofcourse)

Maybe not... I know there is a few balduran items with the extra merchants.

you can get the cloak without cluaconsole, though the way to get it ain't much different, start a new game with a char imported from bg1 (who has the cloak with him, on or in his/her inventory), then just before the game completes the download of the beginning episode hit space bar(pause) and you should be able to go to your characters inventory and drop the cloak on the ground, once the game begins, just pick up the cloak(or any other item you want to bring with you, the pantaloons follow automatically (i'm sure everyone knows it, but just in case..)

Version 2.1.4 of Shadow Keeper will work with Throne of Bhaal - get it here.

The version of Happy Script at my site will run with ToB, all you have to do is unzip and copy the files into the Override directory of BG2 - except for the text files. Link is in my signature.

I did what LD said- I imported my charcter from BG1 with all kinds of goodies (bow, arrows of dispelling, rings, cloaks helms etc.) so I got a couple of items uavailable in SoA and the rest just gave me a head start in the dungeun and vs. Mencar and the circus quest. I don't like cheating regularly, but I've finished the game several times using the orthadox ways, so I don't mind using cracks.

If you want to fight a very smart lich for the cloak, go here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IEEAIS/files/ and open the folder called GBlucher.

Once in that folder, download the GBLICH01.zip. It edits the area script in the warehouse in the docks, and places GB's Lich in there. Its a fun fight, and if you win, you get the cloak of Balduran as loot.

I have the cloak, but the problem is everytime I load the game, the cloak "does not count" which means i have to take it off and put it on again to get the benefits (could see this on my MR)
Bug or normal?
