Post Can someone explain Anomen's spell sequencer..

I'm just curious if someone can explain to me the details of Anomen's spell sequencer, like why he has one, the conditions under which it is fired, and so forth... IIRC, it has improved invisibility, strength, and something else; not a bad combo for a non-mage.

Is this a TOB thing, because I'm not sure what you mean by Anomen's spell sequencer... there was one fight in the game (can't remember which one) where the dialogue box told me that one of the enemies had cast a spell sequencer on anomen that included the spells you mention but I didn't know if that was a bug/mistake on the part of the scripting of that fight.

I witnessed this too: it happened in De'Arnise Keep, during the fight against the mage on the first floor.

Was this cast on Anomen? Did Anomen cast it himself (i.e. did the message window say "Anomen: Sequencer")? And does anyone have the name of that Mage?

I might be able to find something in their scripts.

Yes, this happens in the D'Arnise Keep on the second floor, fighting (IIRC) the nameless Yuan-ti mage in the library area. Hmmm, I guess it must be a bug, since I don't remember it happening elsewhere (Anomen with mage spells? bah! ) - it appears to be cast on himself, as spell sequencers only work on the mage who casted it. Very interesting bug, nonetheless.

Anomen - Spell Sequencer - Fired
Anomen - Spell Sequencer - Haste
Anomen - Spell Sequencer - Improved Invisibility
Anomen - Spell Sequencer - Strength

That sequence is indeed used by Yuan-ti Mages... Strange!

You know, this happened to me too, although I wasn't sure what had happened at the time, all I knew was that Anomen suddenly had the strength icon on his face and I hadn't cast any kind of strength modification spells and hadn't told him to drink a potion. I guess the arrogant little guy has a mind of his own! Or maybe he's possessed....
