Without giving too much away, Bodhi's black heart is only significant when you have an active romance. For more details, do a search on this board.

Thanks everyone I have played the game thru several times and never had a love interest turned to vampire (or did not notice it hard to tell difference with some love interest)and have always killed bohdi with little or no trouble so I guess never need bohdis black heart.

So it doesn't happen your romance has gone far enough, IMHO.

BTW, if straight after rules, Bodhi should never even see your love object if it is protected from undead. Or developers have done some exclusion in this very special case?
Another question (i'm not so far still): is there some reward in XP, too, if you have restored your mate?
