Archer Question

ok i got a problem, i'm a level 17 archer, soloing, i just came out of the underdark and just realized that i can't level up anymore..
question is can i install the expansion (TOB)
and continue getting level ups? ( while still finishing the SOA )?
how does it work. is it possible to keep getting level up's before i finish the SOA without using the {level cap patch}.
one more thing if i do use the level cap patch, will there be any negative effects, (ie: i can't play multiplayer, i can't export my character...)

By installing the XP cap remover you will not get the high level abilities from the TOB until you install it.
I think that by installing TOB you shall be able to advance in level(it has an xp cap of 8000000 points)
