any teambg infinity engine users out here?

well, bg2 is going pretty good (xcept fights with friends forgetting to go to meetings, warning emails from boss about the chance of getting fired for not showing up for work^_^)

i want to make a weapon to be used in bg2, (Charon's Claw, for u forgotten realms ppl) but i got a few questions before i can start.

so if there are any experienced item creators in here, pls post here i need help urgent.

i kno that forum and made a post there too, but this is my sweetheart bg2 forum (lol) so i dont know..

here s my problem:
i wanna kreate a gauntlet+sword combination and they canot be used seperately. u have to wear the gloves to use the sword.
teambg guys told me to make the glove create the sword. but after it is created, cant ppl just take off the glove and use the sword without it?
