Question windowed mode

i am wanting to play BG in windowed mode for convenience reasons, i dint think it can be done..... but does anyone know how to make the windowed screen larger without having to change the actual screen resolution???

800x600 is a pain on the eyes when your used to running 1680x1050

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but to play windowed mode, after you've started up the game (or loaded one), you go to the menu, and unselect "full screen". As far as I know, all resolution settings are set. There may be mods that deal with that though. I however am unsure of this.

i guess i should rephrase, lol, i am playing windowed mode, the only way i have found so far to make the game window bigger is to change the monitor resolution.
what i am trying to find is a way to make the game window bigger while staying in a higher resolution... instead of the unsightly 800x600 resolution.

Can't you make it bigger by turning up the resolution in the game? You'll have to go to an unsupported resolution for that though.

you can't change the game resolution, just the monitor resolution.

Play with baldur's gate tutu. The BG2 engine can handle 1680x1050 IIRC (or at least 1024 x 768)
