Who to keep...Jaheira or Bronwyn???

I have myself - a Paladin, Minsc, Jaheira, Bronwyn, Kahlid and Imoen ... I want to get a mage (probably Dynaheir) ad am trying to decide who to kick out of my party...What do you think?

Well, if you dont want to loose Kalid as well dont kick out Jahiera because he leaves once she does and Visa Versa.

You can only get rid of a single guy by killing them first then reforming the party.

Get rid of Bronwyn. And as for Minsc, arnt your suppost to find Dynaheir for him?
If you dont do thi fast enough he will attack you!!
Quickly go to the Gnoll Stronghold and find her in the second pit.
You'll know what I mean when you go there.

My vote for who you should get rid of is khalid. He is useless and he whines too much. Branwen is indispensible. She is the only true NPC cleric in the game. I found her to be very valuable to the party. I don't think I even kept Jaheira for very long. It's your game and a long road so use lots of NPCs and keep the ones that benefit your party most.

I sent Khalid off to his doom.But you could also leave whoever you want to drop in a house that you won't be going back to,rather than killing them.I ended up sticking with Branwen.She wasn't quite as annoying as Jaheira.

Dump Khalid and Jaheira, IMO. You might want to acquire Quayle. He's not much of a cleric, but he has the spells, and he's a pretty good mage, too. However, Branwen is a better cleric, and Edwin is a superior mage.

I've equiped him with a bow + pumping all stars into the bowskill

Normally I dump Jaheira, because I find that BG1 is to short (read: low xp.cap) to mess around with dual-class/multi-classes.
This time around though I keep Jaheria/Khalid and Minsc/Dynahair and Imoen due to roleplaying towards BG2 (yeah - I'm wierd

My $0.02: Dumb both Jaheira and Khalid. BG1 is not the game for multis. Duals are OK, but there aren't any (although it's good to dual Imoen to Mage once she gets to level 4).

Branwen is probably the best Cleric in the game, although there's also Viconia.

My $0.02, Well, I first dumped Imoen,(sniff, she called me a queer fellow and a dumb head...snivel) and I didn't bother with Edwin, I kept Jahiera because she is so far right now, I have Minsc and Dynaheir, and me, a good mage. I'm just curious, since I aint too far in the game, can you get the heroes like Elminster or Drizz't Do Urden?

Perhaps useless is too strong of a term. I merely meant to say there are better tanks than khalid in the game and that it is possible to kill off khalid and keep Jaheira although in my opinion neither are worth keeping. For some fun when starting out the game, attack khalid and jaheira in the F.A. Inn and try to take out everyone in the facility and then go give that gellena mirrorshade what she got coming to her.
