Where can a find a good cleric or druid?

Heh, Branwen is the best. If you get her chopped to bits, that'll probably happen to the others as well. I suggest you give her another shot.

The only other pure Cleric is Viconia, and she's comparably easily hacked to pieces. In fact, Branwen is one of the better tanks in the game due to her 16 Dex and heavy armor.

n/m i redid the bandit thing and managed to leave w/everyone alive

this lighting bolt trap in the treasure chest killed her

imoen on the other hand got chopped to bits by greywolf lol

As stated above, Viconia is your only true cleric left (IMO better than Bragwen AC wise, but needs strength), the only druid is Farlon (sp?) so get her before she runs the druid grove

i have branwhen i had a save luckily before that fight and redid it and managed to leave w/everyone alive

now im raising my levels fight basilisks im in chapter 4 no spoilers this is the farthest ive got

(played before w/cheats but i was so powerful it was boring so i jus erased it)

playing w/cheats sux its boring as hell

I you like druids, stick with Faldorn. The dread wolf she summons is very good cannon fodder. Furthermore, once she hits level 7 and can shapeshift, she becomes a formidable front-line player, and a strong mule for hauling around heavy items.

Also note that druids level up FAST. I also like Faldorn because unlike Brawnen and Viconia, if you dismiss her with a reputation of 20, she will you get mad and storm off. (And yes, Brawnen will get mad.)

For clerics, I slightly prefer Brawnen. Viconia's super DEX mean's that she's hard to hit, but her %50 magic resistance means that she's hard to heal in battle as well.

I agree that Monty is one of the better thieves, and probably the best backstabber, but Xzar does compare poorly to the other mages you'll find. I think he has a CON of 10 which means at level 35 he has about 8 hit points
