TOSC - Confused

I have just killed Saravok and was told a final save had been made. I can`t find it. The only option is one that came with TOSC but that gives me a completely different party.
To get my own party, I have to go back to before I killed Saravok.
Any help, please?
Cheers

there should be a final save in the BG1 save file folder... which is made automatically before you enter the temple, you can load that and simply not go through, and walk to ulgoth's beard

if you can't find that save, then i'm sure someone smarter than me will eventually help you out on this..

I have a save before entering the temple. By temple, do you mean where you battle with Saravok? If so, it seems you get no credit for killing Saravok.
Cheers

Each time i play the game i would normally play the TOSC part just before going back to the city..as yes your final save is always before the last battle..Maybe there is a hack out there to get around this..If you have not played BG2 with TOB installed i will not say any more but you all out there no what i mean.

Have fun gaming.

There is no save game after you kill Sarevok. However, your pc gets saved so you can import him/her to BG2. It gets saved as 'CHAR1', which includes the xp you get for killing Sarevok. When you put 'CHAR1" in your BG2 'character' folder you can choose to play BG2 with your original pc.

I`ve got to say I think that`s very disapointing. I was hoping to build up a really strong character. I`ve played BG2 and TOB several times and thought it would be nice to go all the way from the beginning, but there`s not much point if you get no credit from completing the first part.
Ah well, BG1 back in the box - now where did I put BG2?
Cheers

I think I didn't explain it very well... you CAN take your char with you, from BG1 to BG2! He/she will be exactly like where BG1 left of. That's WITH the xp for killing Sarevok. The only difference is, you can choose a kit this time.
