BG - TOSC.OK I'll ask a silly question.

I am now trying to work in the expansion pack of TOSC.

So Ok I am able to start off in Ulgoth's Beard and I have been to Ice Island but when I leave for example to go to BG (NORTHEAST) and get the beer, I am unable to get back. I have searched to the NorthEast and down to the South to find Durlag's Tower. Do you think I can find it. NO WAY. They just do not display on my map of BG. I have read the "New Areas" on the Disk. What am I doing wrong. I have downloaded the latest patch and still no joy. Is there still a bug. Reading the forum I see that at least someone is having problems with the tower .

I'm not sure what your question is. Do you want to get back to Ulgoths Beard or get to Durlag's Tower?

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to get back to Ulgoth's Beard. People have had problems getting there the first time, but I never heard of problems getting there again.

Durlogs Tower is on the far southeast of the Sword Coast map. You should be able to travel there, just keep going southeast. You can get a ticket for the tour in Durlog's Tower from the guy standing in front of the Inn in Ulgoth's Beard. The quest related to the Tower you can get from the dwarf inside the Inn.

You also mentioned geting the beer in Baldur's Gate. If I understand you correctly that's related to another TotSC-quest all together.

Thanks for answer.

I recently loaded TOSC and commenced to play. As I said I went to Ice Island on the shandalar quest to bring back his cloak, fine. I then went to BG Northeast (TOSC) to get the charts from the merchants, one of the ways of getting it, is to go to the Blushing Mermaid and get some beer, which I did, BUT when I try to return to Ulgoth's Beard, no such luck I cannot find the damn place. So I started again and this time signed up to go Durlag's Tower, again nothing happend and I cannot find it. So what am I doing wrong or is there a bug. I have downloaded the patch and still nothing.

When you got the beer, did you take it to the fellow in the Merchant's League? That is what you were told to do. Spoiler He will then provide you with a chart with the location of an island.

Thanks for your reply. All is OK, it would seem that ToSC was not loaded properly for when it is both places are shown on the map. So I reloaded the whole thing and sure enough all the new places were shown. Thanks for your interest
