I have heard a rumor about a guy that played with a fighter/thief through the game and killed Sarovok with ONE HIT... he played alone so he had a fairly good lvl. Can u kill Sarovok with one hit when backstabbing him or is this rumor just crap? |

| | | It took me two / three backstabs to finish him with my solochracter. But I dont think it can be done with one hit.

| | | hmm, I never thought of trying that...I can't recall how much hp sarevok has but I still don't think it's possible seing as you can only get like *3 bsmp in BG1...

Just for fun, I did a little test with a 7th Level Figher/8th Level Thief (161,000 XP). He was equipped with a Staff of Striking (two proficiency points in quarterstaff) and he drank a Potion of Storm Giant Strength (STR 24). Out of a total of 14 hits, 2 were critical hits that did 120-126 points of damage; the rest ranged from 48 to 63 points of damage. At that rate, it would have taken at least three critical hits to kill Sarevok (who has about 285 hit points). |
