problem with ToSC

Hello.
I recently bought the baldur's gate 4 in 1 pack, which has both games and their sequels. Having played through BG1, i installed ToSC, only to find that i couldnt play it because it is a USA/Canada version only, and i live in the UK. Any ideas how i can sort this out, or should i just take it back to the shop? How does it even know where i am? Cheers for your help.

I don't know what to tell you but there are those here who do know. Someone will have an answer for you shortly. You would think that in this day and age of marvelous tech advancements they could find a way around the regional coding stuff... Good luck. Hope you get an answer soon!
