Please help me with installation order for easytutu

I'd like to install tutu with BGII ToB.

I'd like to save as much space as possible.

I'd like to use the BGI NPC mod.

I'd like to have unlimited stacking of Ammo, Potions, and Gems.

I'd like to use the Weapon Proficiency system the way it was originally in BGI (un-nerfed).

I'd like to be able to get some kits for some of the NPCs (Kivan an Archer, Imoen a Swashbuckler, Khalid a F/M, ect.)

How can I accomplish all of the above? What order do I do everything in (as I type this, I have nothing BG related on my computer except some portraits I'll add in. I have all the discs in front of me). I just want a detailed explanation of what to do in what order so that I can have the game I desire.

If there are any other suggested mods, please tell me a bit about them and how to install them as well.

Did you ever figure out the answers to your questions? (I assume you did, since that is an older message, and you have posted newer messages about Tutu since then.)

I have decided to install EasyTutu so I can try it myself. (I realize that I have said some negative things about BGTutu, but I want to do some testing.) Which mods did you decide to install?

However, I haven't done much besides installing EasyTutu v4 and the "de-greenifier" since a new Hotfix pack is due next month (May 2008), and it's supposed to be installed before everything else:

The completion of the in-game journal seems essential to me, so I really want to install the upcoming Hotfixes. I didn't really want to wait a month to finish what I started, but I guess I can wait. Does anyone here know if the next release is on schedule?

By the way, has anyone else installed the original music restoration pack, the widescreen mod by The Bigg, and/or TutuGUI (which restores the original BG1 GUI)? Are there any conflicts between them in the latest releases?

I asked the same question (with some different mods) in the PPG Forum, they pointed to the very same thread that VonDondu did. Also Macready told me that a major EasyTutu will be released next month.

In the end, i installed like this and didn't get any error message.

1. Install Baldur's Gate I
2. Install Baldur's Gate I: ToSC
3. Install Baldur's Gate II: SoA
4. Install Baldur's Gate II: ToB
5. Patch ToSC and ToB with official Bioware patches
6. Install EasyTutu_ToB.exe
7. Install EasyTutuHotfixes-20070205.exe
8. EasyTutuDegreenifier-v4.exe
9. Unpack Tutufix_v18.rar to BG Tutu installation folder
10. Mods.

Also, to save space use the space saver option from the installation. Thits way, you'll uninstall Baldur's Gate I after the installation of EasyTutu.

I don't know how useful would be this for you, as only played through prologue (i'm waiting for the next release).

VonDondu, i don't think the widescreen mod is necessary unless you need a widescreen res (because you can set the game to 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, etc with the Baldur's Gate Config file.

The LCD monitor I'm using at the moment only works at 1680x1050. Playing BGTutu in a window is an option, but I don't want to, because it's too small and it's too hard to see everything. I feel like going back to my 19" CRT monitor which makes it easy to see everything on the screen (without the annoying flickers and "adjustments" and the uneven brightness of an LCD monitor), but I don't think I'd be happy with it now that I'm used to a widescreen monitor.

In that case you need the widescreen mod :P

You can always try it, it can be uninstalled easily (you get back to the original settings of the game o whatever do you have before).
