minsc is illegal

minsc is a ranger with only 6 wisdom? the lowest it can be is 14. in fact it his lowest ability score as well. how is minsc legal?

his stats are:
str 18/93
dex 15
con 15
int 8
wis 6
cha 9

sure you can say that minsc got a bump on the head and his wisdom has dropped because of it but that would still make him illegal to gain levels as a ranger.
anyone have any insight about this that i am missing or don't know about?

sorry if this has already been discussed. i did a search and couldn't find it.

It is as you suspect. Minsc have been bumped on the head.

Otherwise, why would Boo stick around and help him out as much as he does

The first time I had anything to do with Minsc I noticed that and it mad me suspicious of him. When, a short time later he killed Imoen and tried to kill me I figured he was just an assassin in disguise and (having killed him of course) have never had anything to do with him since.

Apart from the time I picked him up in the Copper Coronet so I could dump him in the Asylum that is

I'm new to the game, so I don't know if he's legal or illegal, but I love Minsc and Boo.

The stuff that comes out of his mouth make me lol.

"the stuff of legends. Right, Boo?" *laughz

But then again, if he ever turns on my character like he did with galraen, I'll get rid of him like a bad cold.

I realised subsequently Sonny, that it was because of his berserker mode, and the fact I had the AI turned on. It did leave me with an abiding dislike and distrust of him however. Just be careful when he goes berserk and once the battle has ended get everyone away from him, or better still, just turn the AI off.

Thanks, I'll remember that. Hope he behaves him self, because he is kinda cool to have in a party.
