Talking Just Got

Well, I just went on a vacation to the US (I live in the Cayman Islands but I'm American) and well I was there I bought BG1 and ToSC. I've only played this game very little although I have been playing BG2 since Christmas now. Anyways, my question is, what is a good class to play through as? Also, what are some good levels to dual class (any classes though I was thinking about a theif/mage)?

I never dualed in BG1... kinda waste of time IMO. Others will disagree with me, but for BG1, the pure classes were supreme.

Exception are the multiclass. The last time I went through, I had a half-elven Ranger/Cleric and twas a grand adventure!

The Thief is also a great class as well as the Paladin.

Mages also rock as well, not to mention a fighter with ***** in bows

The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

My favourite is a fighter dual to mage at level 6. It gives good HP as well as enough exp left to reach high level spells. I am not sure if this is the best timing to dual, if you are planning to export the character to BG2, though.

Try pure cleric or his multiclasses (half-elf).

animate dead was one of the most useful spells in BG1.

I personally play Fighter/Thief (multi-Dwarf). I think I may be alone in this aspect
