Red face Help me! I'm poisoned!

Hi to all.
I've got a serious problem: when I met Lothander in Central Baldur's Gate I was poisoned and I've started the related quest. Lothander told me about his Geas problem, and that when I've found a cure for him, he will be available at the Blade & Stars inn. I've obtained the "Geas remove scroll" from Jalantha Mistmyr, but when I go to the Blade & Stars, I find no trace of Lothander. Now my days are over and I'll soon die of poison. Please help me finish my quest and defeat the evil that lies beyond. Thanks to all

Did you look for him on the 2nd floor (1st floor in Europe)?

I've searched the entire inn, formed by 3 floors, but I've found nothing, except for a woman on the 2nd floor who murmured something about his name and the plants. The she exploded. In the first floor I find G'axir and Elkart (whose role is unknown to me), in the 2nd there's a commoner and in the 3rd there's Reginald Worthington. Thanks anyway.

You could try to find his partner Marek first. He's at the Blushing Mermaid and he has the antidote. I'm not sure if Marek will be there if you haven't helped Lothander first but it's worth a shot.

Or you can try and cheat to get the antidote: http://cheatingplanet.com/cheats/pc/64.shtml

I tried to find the specific antidote you needed but it doesn't seem to be on the list. Maybe 'neutralize poison' or 'antidote' will work?

Neutralize Poison, antidotes, and even cheating in Marek's Potion of antidote (potn47) won't help with this particular poison - it's controlled by global variables, and ends when Marek gives you his "SO you've come, I assume, to take the antidote..." speech, during which the game sets the global, PartyCured to 1. I don't believe BG1 lets you set global variables like BG2, but you can try it anyway:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("PartyCured","GLOBAL",1)

Are you (wishmaster) by any chance playing a multi-player game? If you are, try copying your game over to the savegame directory and playing in single-player mode to get past this point (BG1 MP games sometimes mess up.) Also, try looking for Lathander outside the Diviner's tent.

Thanks for your detailed post; it has been very helpful to clarify me some obscure points about what can I try or not. I'll try your suggestions, but perhaps it's time to write directly to Bioware, cause it seems a real bug of the game itself. By the way I'm playing the Mac version, but it should be an impovement of the PC one; it should be nearly bugless.
