| | Hashuran's (spelling?) items I've collected the three items (gem/boof/statue) which were being so avidly guarded, but I think I missed the quest of origin as I don't know what to do with them?
Are they useless trinkets or of some use? |

| | | they are to be handed in in the thieves guild.
To gain access you will need to talk to a thief opposite sorceress sundries in east baldurs gate (his name escapes me), he will ask you to go inside and talk to his master, and tells you the password (fafhrd). He then takes you in, and the master is at the top of the room, next to a mage. voila.

| | Whoops,
I accidentally had to kill all in that guild. They started it though.... really they did!
Oh well, I'll know better next time.
Thanks. |

Without getting into any really big spoilers, you have to go through the guild hall to reach another area before you can finish the game. I can't remember whether you need to talk to anybody in the guild hall in order to do that, but there's definitely some dialogue there if the people in question aren't dead.
Also, unless you bought all of the items that the guild members were selling before you killed them, you missed your chance to buy a lot of useful items.
Hopefully, you can still finish the game without any problems. Good luck! |

| | nah, when you have to pass through the guild everyone is gone and there is one guy who talks to you (previously non-existent).
Random mindless slaughter rarely spoils plots
(I killed the entire BG2 paladin order without lose a single point of rep)

| | | Yeah, I did the same thing the first time I played. If you go in there without knowing the password, everyone turns hostile and you lose the side two quests. Also, there is a kind of cool interaction with one of the characters who can give you some information (but little help, despite what he says) later on in the main quest. But the main quest is not spoiled, as Mini Me points out.

| | Well, that's good to know. Sorry if I made anybody get worried over nothing.
As I said, I wasn't sure. I think the reason why I don't remember that part of the game clearly is because I'm deliberately blocking out the memory of the Thieves' Maze (shudder).

minor spoilerage
skeleton warriors surrounded by traps...which they themselves are immune to! i took more reloads on that than on sarevok.

| | And it's kind of funny that Sarevok managed to get by them without setting off the traps or killing the SWs. Hmph!

| | Arrows of detonation are the most cheesy item in all Baldurs Gate series... But they are so cool!
I dont know bout u, but I would ignore the traps, kill Tazok, kill the helmed horrors, then I'd summon lots of monsters on Savvy and Angelo (that stupid has arrows of detonation) and then I'd proceed to killing Savvy before the trapped groud area.
