Fenced Equipment

Is there anywhere in Baldurs Gate that I can unload fenced gear?
I have a load of expensive gear and nobody will buy it.
Even Black Lily didn`t want to know.
Surely I haven`t got to dump it all!
Cheers

I don't think you can sell stolen stuff in BG1. According to Dan Simpson's walkthrough: "There are some stores you can steal from. Stolen (fenced) items cannot be sold."

I have certainly never encountered a merchant who would accept stolen items.

But Black Lily ought to accept stolen goods, if only for role-playing reasons.

My favorite ploy in TOB is stealing. I make a mint of money at the docks, but it doesn`t seem to work like that in BG.
I just got to Baldurs Gate and I have 60,000gp and a load of posh equipment that I can`t use or sell.
Cheers

I agree. And you would think there would be someone in the Nashkell carnival that would as well.
