Export

I have the experience cap removed in my bg1 game, but i want to export him to bg2 without losing the extra experience i have gotten from bg1, is this possible? or will i have to start bg2 with the set amount of experience. also, will it randomly generate a new hitpoint total? if anyone knows how to solve this i will be very appeciative.

if i remember you lose all the extra experience you got and start at the default level...but i would guess you could edit this.

The last time I carried a character over from Tutu he kept his XP, and it was a lot more than the cap as he was Soloing.

I think that your best bet is to install Tutu. You don't have to use it all the time if you don't want to. I have found that having the choice between the two engines is a boon, and I think that many people will agree with me. If you are still enjoying the game without Tutu, then just use it for gaining the extra experience. I actually prefer not to have the extra experience, but that is your descision.
