Drizzt's boots of speed

Since there have been found methods to obtain items you normaly shouldn't, like helmet of opposite alignment, I wonder if this is also possible to do with Drizzt's boots of speed (except for using clua console). It would be nice to aquire a second pair of these.

I have never heard of that happening. AFAIK, you can only obtain his 2 scimitars and armor.

He doesn't have boots of speed. If you're going by the books, he's got some gauntlets around his ankles or something silly like that, but that book was probably written after BG1.

In BG1, he's just got a great movement rate.
