can someone help an idiot who lost his invitation to the coronation?

i lost my invitation to the coronation, i know i'm a big idiot now i just need to find another way into the palace. I hear that there is a switch that opens the gate but i don't exactly where it is. So, if any of you wizes can point me direectly to that switch, i'd be much obliged. I don't really understand where the coordinates are located on the screen either, please help an idiot who just wants to beat the game.

I don't think there's a switch. Guess you'll have to CLUA it in. The code is MISC78. Just in case you don't know how to do that
There is a file called baldur.ini in your BG directory. Open it (or copy it first, you never know).
Under 'Game Options' type 'Cheats=1' and save.
Start the game, press ctrl+tab. A new dialoguebox should appear, type in the words: CLUAConsole:CreateItem("MISC78"). The invitation should appear in your inventory.
