Branwen vs. Yeslick: Who is better?

When you factor in the whole package, which one comes out on top IYO?

Also, is there a difference in levels they can reach as a Cleric with TotSC installed (161,000 XP cap)?

I keep seeing topics from SP here. Is this your doing??

Prefer Yeslick. He doesn't relaly miss out on any spells (2 i think?) and makes a much better tank.

In addition to being a better tank, Yelick also has a better "personality."
Branwen tends to get annoying, IMHO.

As a Cleric goes definitely Branwen since she isn't multi-classed. She isn't good for the front lines though so keep her ranged from the enemies.

Since I turn off combat and selection sounds I don't get annoyed by her quips.

Yeslick is a better "character" but by the time you get to him your party should already have everyone it needs and you should know how to use them.

Branwen or Yaslick

No competition, Branwen whinges too much if you have a high reputation. Yaslick just has a far better script, and when you play the game for as long as it takes you want to like the sound of your characters.

At the 161k XP cap, Branwen can become a level 8 Cleric, and Yeslick can become a level 7/7 Fighter/Cleric.

Branwen will end up with one more 3rd and one more 4th level Priest spell...

Yeslick will end up with more weapon proficiencies, and a lower THAC0, because of the Fighter half of his multi-class...

Branwen will have an AC that is two better than Yeslick, because of her higher DEX... but Yeslick will have more potential HP, because of his higher CON and being half Fighter. And if you nominate him as the lucky winner of the Gauntlets of 18 DEX, then he'll have the higher AC too.

Branwen is available much earlier in the game than Yeslick... but you can use her for awhile until you get to him, and have some exposure to an additional NPC, instead of having the same 5 companions the whole game.

And, is there anything cooler than a dwarven Fighter/Cleric? I vote Yeslick.
