big problem, where's greywolf

Going back through BG1 again while waiting for ToB. Tangent: If you've played BG1 and BG2, play BG1 again; the amount of foreshadowing is interesting.
Anyway, down in the outdoor area of nashkell mines and found prism. Made my choices to not protect him. Took him out and got the emeralds but never saw greywolf. Does this mean I will not see and not get the long sword +2. What up?

I'm not 100% sure about that, but I looked at Greywolfs dialogue and he doesn't have any lines except for those he uses when he comes for Prism.

That might mean he dosn't appear if you don't agree to protect Prism.

IIRC You have to offer to protect Prism for Greywolf to appear. Once you have beat him for his sword you can then take out prism for his emerald. In fact they are as good as given to you!

thanks. I'll just use gatekeeper to get the sword. Didn't want to use it, but I'll guess I'll have to. Don't want to go through the game w/o one of the best weapons.

gatekeeper ruined baldurs gate for me last time i played

this time ive changed montaron and shar-teels stats gave them some armor but they dont have all 25s

she has like a 19 in strenth
same w/him

then i changed the alingment of the guy w/the moonblade hes now neutral evil

i also changed viconia to a druid since im a cleric/mage

but i dont really consider this cheating really since im untouched and i really didnt change the others to much,i cant wait for viconia to get shapeshifting
the only thing thats annoyin is occasionly it acts like montaron and shar-teel are dead for some reason

after that i deleted gatekeeper i originally didnt even want to do that much i just wanted to give me a ring of wizardy

and i cant help but use it if i have it so uninstalled it went
