BG The Original Saga

Has anyone gottin' this? It seems kinda lite in the stores and I was wondering what it comes with. Seems to light to have the orignal manuals... And does it still have 6 CDs? Disk swapping is a real pain.

Unless I am mistaken, that is the bundle pack which contains both Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast expansion; so, I'm guessing that it has everything that you would get if you bought BG and TotSC seperately.

Disc swapping is a pain, I agree. If you've got the hard drive space, full install gets rid of that annoyance.

Indeed, BG1 = 5 CDs, TotSC = 1.

Disc swapping is not really bad unless you run across the map like crazy, and you don't need to swap at all if you do the full install.

Yeah. When I added a 40 gig hard drive to my comp, I uninstalled BG1 from my 6 gig and did a full install onto my 40 gig. No more disc swapping.

Just choose custom install and select all!

BG:The Original Saga comes with:
3 Game CDs
1 Audio CD of the Soundtrack
1 double sided map of The Sword Coast and on the other side Baldur's Gate with various locations marked
A limited edition Lithograph (6x8 I believe)of Sarevok

There are no manuals
It has both the basic game, the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion, and DirectX 8.
It is fully patched to the most current revisions.

It also takes just as long to do a Full Install, and the new installer recognizes large drives.
