Save?? Please help...!

Hello all.

I was trying to play Arcanum in multiplayer with a friend. When we left the game we were asked if we wanted to save. We answered yes, and next time we entered the game, our character lvl was the same as when we left, but we lost all equipment. I tried to find out what is wrong, but it seems like there is nothing to do...

So my answer is: Is it possible to save your inventory in multiplayer, and if it is, how do you the do?
