Okay, couple of questions.

Alright... I'm going to come off as a complete newb again, but there are a couple of things that are bugging me.

(For the record, I'm playing a male good-aligned half-elf mage/warrior.)

I heard that there is some kind of romance quest with Raven, the elf markswoman who has been following me around and shooting me in the back ever since Qintarra. I have not gotten any extra conversation options with her except at places like Caladon and the 'grave' of Nasrudin, and even then it's always a 'do you know anything about this place' option so I am somewhat sceptical. Is there such a quest? If so, how do I trigger it?

The romance is in the game, but not a 'quest' as such. I only took her along once, it's not just that she kept shooting me in the back, but her tendency to bring area effect spells down on everyone that annoyed me to the point of never wanting to have anything to do with her. As for triggering the romance, I believe that happens through dialogue when you meet her, and in conversations in Quintara before she joins you, but I can't be certain.

You can only get the romance subplot if you are a full-blooded elf. Half-elves just don't cut it.

I haven't tried it with all of the races, but I'm positive it works for elves, half-elves and humans. You need to have high BE and CH and, if I'm not mistaken, fairly high Persuasion. In general, a male diplomat should be able to get involved with her with no problem. Not sure about dwarves, tho'.

I'm not 100% sure but I think I once had Raven fall in love with me when I was playing a gnome.
