Unhappy My character is so slow

I've got a problem. I was wandering above the Grey Mountains and suddenly my character goes so slow - it's like when I have too much heavy things in backpack, but I don't - even when I use a map and walking points when I'm in the city.
An all my saves are like this, even I saved it before it happended.

Thanks for helping me.

Ive got no idea what it could be, except for some bug maybe. Try reinstalling the game. Reinstalling usually works miracles

Well

It's happened to me a couple of times. Try re-entering the last town you visited. That may put things right by resetting everything. Otherwise you'll have to start over.

Is this some sort of lag or a slow animation display? Are you sure you aren't simply walking?

I seem to remember Arcanum sets a character to walk after a save load... could be another game I'm thinking of.

Post removed. While I'm sympathetic that you're experiencing a similar but different problem, this isn't the place to put it. The focus in on the issue expressed by the person who started this thread. If your answer isn't in our searchable database, start another thread.

Im not sure if this is your problem, but it just might be. Virgil suddenly started moving very slow and I could'nt figure out the reason, but then I checked his stats and apperently his dex some way had been reduced to 1, which I guess is from some sort of trap, leaving him a cripple. This could be why your character is moving slow also. Anyone know a solution to this?

the only thing i can think of is pc cpu or ram lag
I get that if I have too many corpses on the spot im currently at
Or when my browser for some reason (cuz my win needs a good reinstall but im too lazy) goes like 40% cpu usage, also if i have little free space on the hard drive... And most of the time when i put always running -> off, but if i click and the character starts running its changed to on again in the options ... aside from blind guesses i rly dun know...
