Are there any items you pick up that are just meant to be disposable? IE no real use and are just meant to sell to general stores. An example I can think of is keeping finding coins, they have a strange name that begins with an N or a M. I haven't found a use for these yet.

Also, I'm a techie, whats a decent weapon for me. I've got the Stillwater blade, and Jayna has the lightweight axe. Virgil is using something else that I can't remember at the moment.

Another thing, where are the found schematics. I know theres one in a basement in Ashbury, but I can't defeat the mechanical beast. I have the schematics for some fancy gun, and I bought the envenomed sword and fast dagger from the armoury in Tarant.

Also, how do I get the second quest from the King in Dernholm, he keeps saying he might get back to me later.

The Nmura Coins are used in the Ancient Gods quest.
Found schematics are random, like most loot.

GawainBS I have to contradict you... Schematics are not found randomly... they are placed in fixed locations...I am currently doing an explore of the game.. and I will publish everything there is to know.... where are the schematics and everything.. I'll be back then... As for the second quest of the king in dernholm.. he'll give it to you once you discover the location of Caladon.. you have to advance a little in the story before you will discover it...

I said "like most loot". Some are fixed (the Pyrotechnic Axe, for example, or some Vendigrothian schemes), but a big part of them are random.

no.. none are random.. just the ones that are sold in shops

Two is all you need. You can also sell them.

I'm not certain about this, but I think you can find some schematics as loot in chests and containers as well.
