mds file problem... New arcanum download?

Ok so, now i got a problem with the game itself. Once i used to have the original game, but this is long time ago and i lost my cd. Afterwards i formatted my pc and now i want to play again this awesome game, so i downloaded it from a torrent

The arcanum folder contains two folders, one with 2 mds and mdf files, and one with the last official patch. Now, i got a problem with the mds file. THe mdf files are 740 mb each, while the mds files are 0 kb. In addiction, i know that i have to mount the mds file with daemon tools, in order to install the game (containet in the mdf files), but... it says that the mds file is empty. I downloaded the same file from different sources, because i thought it was a corrupted file, but it's the same thing in every file. So my question is:

Do you know if it's possible to generate an mds file to read and mdf file, or can you upload me the mds files, orrrr, can you pass me a good download with no missing files? I know that d/l isn't the best way to play, but i don't wanna spend money again :/

Game piracy is a no-go policy here, so nobody will offer you help with it. As far as we know, you never bought the game. (Not saying that you're lying, though.)

Look at GOG.com, I believe they offer Arcanum for download-sale for 5 € or so.
