How do I get bullet Scematic?

Hi, I want to start a gunfighter and I want to know how to make bullets so I don't run out. Thanks.

Also; How do I get custom portraits to work?

I don't ever remember there being a bullet schematic...if there is one, it should show up fairly early because late in the game bullets are abundant/cheap as hell. I'm pretty sure it's not a written schematic, because those are obtained later in the game, and by that point, bullets schematics are kinda useless. Although, I'm not a tech player (yet), even though I have looked in detail at every option. I doubt you're going to find/learn a schematic for bullets, and yes, this will be expensive at early game. Actually, if you go to tarant and hunt down the guy who sells firearms, he typically has a bullet scem that uses saltpeter and something else.... I forget. But anyway, in the beginning I guess that bullets may be a bit spendy, which is why you rob... I mean, BORROW FROM,the shopkeepers.

Bullets are also found in caves, chests and downed bodies. Remember to look everywhere because bullets are expensive and heavey. Get your PE as high as posssible to be max effective. Keep a sword handy incase you run out of bullets.

Telaris is right. Goto the Firearms dealer in Tarant next to the Blacksmith. Every day or two he has the schematic. I think the strategy guide (which I had for 3 days) said there is a 40 or 70% chance of him having the schematic. It takes Saltpeter and either Charcoal or Coal.

On the issue of carrying extra weapons, yes a sword is nice, but I'd consider the Chakarum. It's fast and it takes NO ammo.

Also, don't you need explosives or some other teck to be able to make bullets? I remembered, because I remember going firearms and then finding that schematic and wasn't able to make it, I thought that might be the reason...
